Movies - to explain

Flash Movies to explain - designed and produced by Electric Ink Ipswich.

Sometimes it's difficult to get a simple idea across, sometimes it's difficult to make a complex idea simple. How do you explain a product. Our Flash movies are usually successful.

When we produced this our client commented that, whilst he had been in business years, he could never explain his product as simply as this - we did it for his web site.

For this client we produced this movie that shows how to get various RYA qualifications if you are powerboating or sailing. Apparently it was a big success at the Boat Show - London.

The whole thing below is one flash movie. It shows a tyre monitoring system. Try clicking on the blue button (Sample car data) then click the button run. You will see the car going around the track top right with the pressures and temperatures of the tyres being shown live, try zooming to one lap - there's a fair bit here. The whole lot could be sent as an email attachment, put on the web, or enlarged with a projector to wall size - but the file size is less than 1Mb.

This client had a web site that had a huge picture/poster explaining the malt making process. The picture took an age to download and then there was lots of scrolling etc. The file size of the movie below is tiny and downloads in seconds - 3 to be exact.
