Flash has had a poor history, spoilt by inept designers more intent on showing off their 'flashy' skills and producing all those intros that everybody used to skip, and Apple's unacceptance (in part due to the crashing that badly designed Flash files produce) - couldn't mention their spat with Adobe.
What's not widely appreciated is that it remains a very powerful tool for doing serious work in a way that other formats can't really get to at the price.
We can provide many examples of Flash that are 'serious' big boy tools - from a simple configurator using as many parameters as you wish - to an illustrated audio lecture - to the simple explanation of a process or concept. we've put a few simple ones above - just click through - obviously we have had to reduce them in size to show you, but it should be self evident that they can be any size, with usually no loss in quality, so, for example, the Swelgel one could be big enough to fill your screen . Incidentally the owner of Swelgel remarked "you've just explained something in 2 minutes that generally takes me 20 and I've had the product for decades!" They are not cheap to properly produce but can be worth their weight in gold. The owner of Airbench also didn't believe it was possible to give clients the choice - until he received his first order!
flash files can be as interactive or as passive as you wish - when used in presentations they remove at a stroke that 'death by powerpoint' scenario.
