Don't ever underestimate the power of the humble leaflet, and don't ever waste your money by having the design done 'on the cheap'.
Your 'saving' will likely mean that all your leaflets end up in the bin, or worse, you are besieged with 'timewasters'.
Be brave, spend some money on the design, target the people you really want and then relax. We can write the copy, source/create the imagery and even have them printed for you.
We can supply them as interactive electronic files for use on the web.
History suggests that our leaflets will be looked at and actioned immediately, or retained for when the recipient requires the services/products. The record thus far is a Suffolk gent (5 years after receipt) who commented "well I didn't want it then but I knew I would want it in the future". The leaflet had rested like a germinating seed in his drawer.
We've also had (quite large) companies who have been surprised by the response that our leaflets have produced.
In essence we have 'recognised' the industry that they were in, and designed accordingly, e.g. a large east Anglian motorcycle company who thought they were in the motorcycle business, we designed their 'mailer' for the 'leisure industry'. They received 5 times their normal response from our mailing.
It's not rocket science, just good design allied to common sense. The audience, the recipients, the reception, the message - if anything is demanded and the budget won't allow, our suggestion would be to save up until you can and not waste what you have.
If you 'cram' with information to keep the costs down and nobody reads it because it is crammed - 'foot' 'shooting in' comes to mind. Don't waste your money by not doing it properly.
